Projeté en première mondiale au Fantastic Fest ce cette année, « Strange Harvest: Occult Murder in the Inland Empire» a été écrit et réalisé par Stuart Ortiz (la moitié du duo de cinéastes connu sous le nom de «The Vicious Brothers», Grave Encounters , Extraterrestrial ). Il s’agit d’un faux documentaire sur des faits réels concernant deux détectives à la poursuite d'un célèbre tueur en série nommé M. Shiny, qui a terrorisé la Californie du Sud pendant près de deux décennies.
